Just got back from Seoul Food 2025, where we learned about the top food trends of the future. Here's what we were particularly impressed with:
🔥3 trends in the Korean market: 1️⃣ Protein coffee - in South Korea, you can buy capsule coffee with protein. And yes, it really is in demand! 2️⃣ Plant Milk - one in two Koreans choose lactose-free alternatives due to common lactose intolerance. Soy and oat-based drinks are especially popular. 3️⃣ Fermented Protein Products - Koreans are taking traditional fermentation methods to the next level, creating high-protein pastas and sauces with improved digestibility.
Why is this important to us? Our pea protein and wheat gluten products have proven to be the perfect solution to these trends. We already have preliminary agreements with several major functional food manufacturers.
